SASS here, rising a bit early to give you what used to be top secret information. Yet, for the cause, I will share it with all of you.
When I’m not busy being a sarcastic, opinionated individual with a thirst for vigilantism, there are certain causes that stir my inner humanitarian. Autism Awareness happens to be one of them. My publisher didn’t have to twist my arm or threaten to take away my sickle. When I was approached to provide support, I just said “Point me in the right direction.”
(Hey I have to shock the Powers that Be sometimes.)
Then, it came time to make a selection. The only drawback is that I’m not one hundred percent certain my novelette (working title “Transcendent Choice”) will be out in time for the event coming up in mid-April.
However, “Continuous Drips” that features three stories of mine will be in the mix. When you purchase the work from April 15th-30th, 10% of each sale will go to Autism Awareness.
So, I have one simple question. Okay, maybe more than one, but you get the drift!
1. If you are an author, what are you waiting for? First, you are supporting a cause. Two, it gives the chance to generate more sales for your work.
2. If you are a reader, won’t it make you feel good to read someone’s work where you know the money is going to a cause? Doesn’t it make your inner humanitarian smile?
All right, approaching the finish line here. Apologies but the last thing I saw was Max from Netflix and now the voice is lodged in my head.
Authors, get your work in! The deadline to sign up is on March 31st. The puzzle piece below is equivalent to clicking to sign up. If you work better with text, then you can click the writing.
Then after you sign up via Google docs, then join the All Authors Autism Awareness Fundraiser itself, being held from April 15th until April 30th. There is one spot on Google + and one spot on Facebook. Join one or both! Invite fans, family, friends, strangers … heck, anyone who has a heart and wants to do some good in the world through the support of reading.
I just know I’ll be seeing you there.
